TRANSATLANTIC EUROPEAN CRUISE 2025

Hey, friend! Long time, no blog. But it was for a good reason! Well, it's a reason at least.
For the past 2 weeks, my family and I have been living our absolute best lives living on a cruise ship, stopping throughout Europe. Josh and I initially wanted to go somewhere just the two of us for our 10th anniversary, but we quickly realized we would be miserable without our babies. So, the five of us, four grandparents, two uncles, and one aunt made our way across the Atlantic to begin our voyage.
First arriving in London, we were greeted by our sweet friends who showed us the highlights. Josh and I were so excited to see Big Ben because it was under construction the last time we were there. One late night english McDonald's order and a train ride later, we were in South Hampton to catch our ship.
We visited A Coruna, Spain for a couple of days because our second stop, Vigo, Spain, was canceled due to weather. Honestly, I was perfectly ok with this. A Coruna was gorgeous and so was the weather.
Our next stop, Funchal, was probably the most beautiful place I've ever seen. I'd say it beats Hawaii and Alaska for me. It was like if the island of Te Fiti from Moana was a real place that had been inhabited.
We spent a week at sea in absolute luxury. So much time to spend with each other and with our kiddos completely unplugged from the world. Having someone else do the dishes, clean your room, make every meal, and leave chocolate on your freshly made bed every night really doesn't get old.
The cherry on top of this entire trip was the unplanned stop at Castaway Cay, where Josh and I spent our honeymoon 10 years ago. We feel so incredibly blessed to have taken this time with our family, exploring and experiencing God’s incredible creation.
As if this trip wasn't perfect enough, I had the time of my life photographing it all. Getting to just see something beautiful and snap it was the best kind of therapy. And I must say, every shot felt like the shot. It was a composition playground and I'm so excited to print these and hang them around our house.
