OUR 10TH ANNIVERSARY SESSION

If you're a faithful subscriber to this blog, first of all: thank you. But also, I'm sorry for bombarding your email with four posts this evening. It's been a crazy busy week! In fact, it's been a crazy busy decade! But there's absolutely not one thing I would change about it because for the past 10 years, I've had the honor of being married to the best person I know.

This past Friday, 10/24/25, Josh and I celebrated our 10th anniversary. When he asked me months ago what I wanted, I said that I wanted to go back to the place where we took all of our wedding pictures and redo them all, and hopefully get to do a "first look" in my wedding dress, something I sorely regret not doing on our wedding day.

Well, it actually fit and we did just that. Of course, we had to include the kiddos in some snaps as well. We wrote and read letters to each other and then we went and ate our weight in pasta. It was perfect, even the chaos (pictured below). We forgot Maizy's shoes at home, the kids were more interested in the dirt and rocks than the pictures, and I snapped a button on the belt of my wedding dress. I feel like our entire life right now is juggling the chaos. But I truly love it. In every stage of life, I couldn't be happier and it's all thanks to God for putting Mr. Turner by my side.

It's crazy how much we've been through together all of these years. I'm so proud of the family and home we've built and it all still feels like the beginning. Just look at how he looks at me. I hope everyone gets to experience the kind of love I feel every day.

Here's to the next 10 years, and the 10 after that, and the 50 after that!

Also, here's a snap of me and my bridal crew from 2015 and again in 2025! How blessed am I to not only have the best husband ever, but the best lifelong friends as well?!
