SHELBY & DAKOTA | A SUNNY ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT MUSCATATUCK NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE

It’s engagement season here in my little corner of the photography world and today, I’m absolutely elated to present this beautiful couple to you as a future Mr. and Mrs.! This is not their first time in front of my camera, but it did feel a little bit different!

Being engaged is such a unique time. So much planning and thinking to do, but at the same time, there’s so much excitement and anticipation to fill in all the gaps. I loved getting to see them in this stage. They’re so excited for the future and they’re chasing a clear vision of it together. Their connection felt deeper and more relaxed. The two of them were glowing and the sun got the memo! So many of their tender moments turned into magical sun-filtered photographs. It felt like the perfect way to capture this part of their love story.

I love getting to photograph a couple in love! It’s adds a layer of authenticity to the images that can only be achieved by two people who are truly excited to spend the rest of their lives together. I’m so excited to see what the next chapter of their story looks like! Here’s to love, friendship, and the future of Shelby and Dakota!
