MR. & MRS. PETERS | A STUNNING WEDDING DAY FULL OF LOVE AND LAUGHTER

The much anticipated Peters wedding has now come and gone. I won’t lie, after getting to know these two a bit and shooting the most perfect engagement session, I had pretty high expectations for this day. Not only aesthetically, but I knew the entire day would have the best vibes. Well, let’s just say all of my expectations were blown out of the water.

The first thing I shot that day was the reception site and I audibly gasped when I walked through the doors. As a black and white lover myself, I was in heaven shuttering every stunning detail. And it only got better from there!

Daniel and Kennedy have the cutest, most playful dynamic. They bicker like brother and sister, but they kiss and make up quicker and easier than any couple I’ve ever seen. They still have that puppy-love glow about their relationship, yet they’re as comfortable with each other as the oldest married couple. That kind of love deserves the absolute best wedding day possible. I know their friends and family felt the same way, and that’s why every one of us were nervously checking the radar on and off that morning.

The clouds sure looked heavy, but Daniel assured me from the very beginning that it wasn’t going to rain on the Peter’s parade.

“I prayed about it.” He explained.

“Me too” Kennedy said.

“Me too” I said with a smile as the weight of worry flew off my chest.

If that don’t tell you what kind of people the new Mr. and Mrs. Peters are, I’m not sure what will. And you know what? He was right. The rain let up just in time for their portraits. The misty air created the dreamiest background and I could not be more in love with the results.

After the ceremony, Daniel, clearly on cloud 9, couldn’t help but point out how right he had been.

“The good Lord took care of us.”

And that’s my prayer for their new life together. That this incredible, amazing, wonderful, magical wedding day was just the start to a lifetime of the good Lord taking care of them and blessing them in every way.
