MICAH & LEXI | AN ENCHANTING ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT MOUNT SAINT FRANCIS

This is one of those "pinch me" sessions. Lexi and Micah are getting married in October, so for their engagement session, I met them at the place where Micah asked Lexi to be his girlfriend and then on the bridge where he proposed. When I tell you that I am in love with these images, I'm under-exaggerating.

Lexi and Micah had the most beautiful, sun-filtered session. I'll let you in on a little photographer's secret: real sun-filtering is a very difficult task. I used to be afraid of it. There's a fine line between magic and an unsalvageable white-washed image. BUT it's become a challenge that I absolutely adore because as proof by these images, when it works out, it's unbelievable. Guys, these rays and rainbows are REAL. No photoshop required. These two look like they're in a movie and I am obsessed.

The best part is that the magic goes far beyond the images. Micah and Lexi are made for each other. Two of the most gentle souls you will ever meet: the future Mr. and Mrs. Overstreet have the kind of love that's calm, reflective, and stable. I've heard Micah's testimony, and at the end of it, he told about how being in a relationship wasn’t in his plan at all, but it was in God’s plan to put her in his life and now they are to be husband and wife. Their love story is just as breathtaking and cinematic as their session was.
