MADI & JAMISON | A JOYFUL AND HEARTFELT WEDDING AT WILLOW LAKE

As a wedding photographer, most of my feeds are curated to wedding content. Gotta stay relevant... but sometimes it's overwhelming. Trying to keep up with the latest trends. Trying to check every box. Make sure you don't forget this or that. Make sure you do the latest craze. In today's world, it's almost like the wedding means more than the marriage. That's exactly why I feel so blessed to have the clients that I do. Madi and Jamison's day was an incredible breath of fresh air that reminded me that a wedding day is not a performance, but a celebration.


Let me explain:


As I was reviewing this day, it felt so uniquely beautiful to me. But why? It hit me that their wedding didn't fit any mold. Instead of focusing on what is trending, Madi and Jamison chose a day that reflected them as individuals and as a couple.


Ducks, marigolds, cookies, and Crocs...


Never before have those four words been applicable together. And that's what made this wedding day so incredibly fun to capture. Their day was intentional, heartfelt, and authentic. This created an environment that made everyone feel relaxed. The joyful moments were natural and effortless.


When I left, cookies and flowers in hand, it felt like I had just been to a family reunion or Christmas at my grandparents' house. I had witnessed a celebration of two very loved people who were so excited to start their life together.
