MADI & JAMISON | A GLOWING SUMMERTIME ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT MOUNT SAINT FRANCIS

Maybe it's because I'm in the last year of my twenties, but for some reason, getting older has hit me hard lately. Every hair that I lost postpartum has come back in gray. I can feel when it's going to rain in my knuckles, and that one massive wrinkle in the middle of my forehead won't go away when I relax my face anymore. These are the things I've had to learn to accept in the past year, but I'm not sure if anything could've prepared me for how old I felt when I heard that these two were getting married.

I've known Madi and Jamison since they were teeny little tots. To think that they're now this dashing couple in front of my camera is hard to imagine.

BUT here they are! All grown up, in love, and ready to get married!

We met at Mount Saint Francis to celebrate their engagement all while creating the dreamiest images! The sun was setting, creating this wonderful glow all around them. Although, to be quite honest, they didn't need much help glowing! These two are so giddy around each other. Every time I would show them the back of the camera, Madi would say, "Aww!"

Jamison would tell her, "Good job!" and as I watched them high-five each other after each perfect shot, it made my heart all warm and fuzzy to think that they get to marry their biggest cheerleader.

Take it from someone who's been there: you can be young and in-love and that's great. But very quickly, you will get older (some say it may even happen around 29). Seasons come and go and dreams can change. I can tell you first-hand how important it is to have a cheerleader in your corner through every up and down. Someone who will support you in all of your crazy ideas is priceless and I'm so happy that Madi and Jamison have found that person in each other.
