KIMBERLYN & ZACK | A WINTER WONDERLAND WEDDING AT FAITH ASSEMBLY CHURCH AND THE GRAND

How could I not start off this post with praise?! When you plan a wedding in December, the weather is probably the primary concern. Any bride and groom want their guests to be safe and comfortable, but as a photographer, I'm not-so-secretly hoping for a ton of fluffy snow. So when massive movie-style snowflakes were falling down the night before the Nickell's big day, I couldn't hardly contain my excitement. What's even better is that God allowed us to wake up to a beautiful, snowy landscape, BUT He didn't stop there. He warmed it up just enough so that the roads were clear and all of the guests could arrive safely, but we still had snow on the ground for pictures. Honestly, it was a best case scenario, and if that ain't the theme for this event, I'm not sure what else it would be.

Kimberlyn and Zack got to celebrate their brand new life ahead surrounded by more family and friends than many people are blessed with in a lifetime. The love and support was felt throughout the entire day. The atmosphere while we were getting ready was nothing but peace sprinkled with plenty of giggles. The ceremony was picture-perfect. The evening had so many heartfelt surprises and touching moments. Every tear shed and full-blown belly laugh became clear memories of one perfect celebration. God answered prayers before and throughout the day and I could not feel more honored and blessed to showcase the beauty that was December 12, 2025.
