XAVIER SCOTT O'NEAL | LIFESTYLE NEWBORN

I haven't been so excited to share a post in a long time. Mostly because this post took such a long time. Over three years, to be exact.

After all of the appointments, shots, prescriptions, tears, and prayers, Shelby and Chris can finally take a deep breath and inhale that sweet, sweet newborn smell. Because, ladies and gentlemen, Xavier Scott O'Neal is finally here and he's perfect. My goodness, those deep blue eyes were mesmerizing. And I can't get over how adorably strawberry blonde his hair is. Of course, in order to snap a few shots of him, I had to get past big sister Hazel, who was equal parts protective and jealous of the new addition. That didn't stop her from stealing the spotlight in a few of their new family portraits.

Xavier, I'm so thankful that you're here and safe. You have no idea how many people have waited on you and loved you even before you were born.

Chris and Shelby, I've certainly taken quite a few images of the two of you over the years, but I have to admit that these are my favorite. I've never seen the two of you so whole before. Enjoy these moments. They really are some of the best that life can offer.
