What makes the perfect fall family session?

Is it the perfect fall colors? Perfect fall weather? Perfect outfits? Perfect smiles? Maybe it’s the pure joy and love in a family that lights up the lens.

Believe you me, I’ve witnessed some pretty perfect fall family sessions before, but I’m still not sure which element makes them perfect.

But I am sure that whatever it is, the Newtons have it!

The truth is, no family is perfect. Not every single moment is sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes it takes a whole lot of convincing (and even more goldfish) to create the perfect memory in a 5x7 frame. But when I look at my own crazy kiddos up on my wall, it helps me remember that the good times always outweigh the bad and I even start to forget all of the bribery that it takes to get three babies to smile.

For the Newtons, that bribery comes in the form of the oldest cousin. I loved seeing how much these babies are adored. The love between grandparents and grandchildren, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, and every other combination was evident in this clan- on and off camera.
