MAIZY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY AT KNOBSTONE FLOWER FARM
- MAGGIE TURNER

Party planning is my love language. It's hereditary. I did not choose it. My poor husband, however, did not choose the party planning life either. The compromise we came up with when we first had children was that I could throw first birthday parties to my heart's desire (exhibit A & exhibit B). Then the rest of the celebrations would be pizza and cake in the kitchen. I'm happy to report that (for the most part (exhibit C)) we've both held up our ends of that deal. When Miss Surprise came along, poor Joshy knew that I would still take full advantage of our contract and he was very correct!
Ergo, a "daizy" themed first birthday party for Miss Maizy! After finding the perfect venue at Knobstone Flower Farm, I got busy planning. All of the kiddos got to create their own flower bouquet at their incredible u-pick field. We all enjoyed the amazing scenery and outstanding weather. Maizy stuffed herself full of mac n cheese, so she didn't put on much of a show when she dug into her cake. And the cherry on top was Southern Tea Co's adorable truck gifting us all with absolutely delicious drinks all evening.
Thank you all for helping celebrate the littlest Turner. She's certainly a special little girl and brings us so much joy and excitement. I'm fairly certain that this will be the last big first birthday bash, though. At least we ended on a perfect note!
