MADISON & DREW | A RUSTIC FALL WEDDING AT THE FARM ON OLD STATE ROAD

Please help me introduce the Carnes! Finally!


I feel like we all have lived 10 different lives since the first time we met, but one thing has remained the same: these two are best friends!


Along with their massive support system, we celebrated the wedding of Madison and Drew at the Farm on Old State Road. One word that sums up the entire day in my mind is: balance. These two balance each other so well. Madison’s big, bright smile lit up my camera. Her lightheartedness and sense of humor put everyone at ease while Drew stood right beside her with his thoughtful presence. He offered a grounding sense of peace to each moment and it's that balance that is the foundation of their relationship.


Following that theme, their wedding day details were also perfectly balanced. Trends come and go, that’s why it’s so important to choose details that are true to who you really are and I feel like the Carnes did that so well. The Farm already has that rustic charm, and I felt that theme carried throughout the day. From Madison’s boots to the wooden arch set against an open field to the animals prancing in the background, everything about this wedding felt rooted. There were also several soft details as well. Like a pearl-studded veil and bouquet charms honoring those who helped shape Drew and Madison into who they are today. The marriage (no pun intended) of the warm and rustic made this wedding day a playground for me!


This incredible day was topped with one big celebration in the sunset. There were too many moments of open-faced laughter to even capture them all, but boy did I have fun trying!


Thanks, Carnes, for a spectacular wedding day! I hope you felt every ounce of love that I was able to see through my viewfinder.
