ELISE & JARED | A LIGHTHEARTED SPRINGTIME ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT HARDY LAKE

This is a match I did not see coming. Let me explain: I've known Elise for years. Starting with her maternity session, I've photographed her and her sweet boy now at over 20 sessions (that's no exageration, we counted). These two are my perfect little models- they're basically pros at this point. Funny enough, though, Jared has been in front of my camera before too! I've had the pleasure of working with him as a DJ at weddings. So when Elise told me about their relationship, I was like, "Wait. You know each other?"

When these two became engaged, I knew it was going to be an easy-peasy, dreamy session.

I love it when I'm right! These two brought their entire clan and everything went over perfectly. At least, from my viewpoint. Poor Jo did get some sand to the face, but the pictures at the beach were worth every grain!

I loved getting to photograph these two together after a long history of solo shots! What a wonderful thing to witness. Elise and Jared are about to tackle this crazy ride of life together and if one playful beach session with their four kiddos doesn't prepare them, I'm not sure what will.

Can't wait for September!
