I don't think my house has ever smelled better. For the last week, I've caught waves of eucalyptus or rose. I'm sitting in my kitchen absolutely in awe of how amazing these arrangements look after an entire week! I shouldn't be surprised, though. Dianne at Mack-Mae Flower Farm is a wizard and I know anything she touches will be magical. I've had the privilege of working with her at several weddings and I always adore taking detail shots of her work. She's not just a talented florist, she's my friend and these are all of the reasons I asked her to help me.
For my daughter's first birthday, I wanted flowers to be the decor. Just flowers. Everywhere. I had a vision in my head of this wall of flowers. I told all of this to Dianne and instead of telling me I was crazy like she should have, she went above and beyond my visions. After the party, I couldn't let all of this loveliness go to waste. Cue mini sessions!
What a blast creating the dreamiest styled shoots ever. I love what I do and I'm not taking any flowers down until they're dead and drooping (seven days, people, and they're still pretty!)
