DAY FAMILY

These summer evening sessions are quickly becoming my favorite! Featured on the blog today, the Day family met me at Mount Saint Francis to update their portraits. The warm sun peeked through the trees, giving this entire session a soft glow with vibrant colors and I am adoring how they all turned out!

Olivia and Garrett are the parents of the sweetest little girls, Brooklyn & Brynnlee. Let me just say from experience (my baby girl is pulling at my dress as I type this) that rounding up babies, keeping them clean for longer than 5 minutes, and actually getting any shots is not an easy task. But wow these guys knocked it out of the park! Even between tiny meltdowns, we were able to catch the sweetest glimpses into their family dynamic.

I love getting to bend down and see the world from their point of view. Brooklyn stopping to smell the flowers (and insisting I smell them too!) and Brynnlee feeling the grass between her chubby little fingers reminds me that life is so simply beautiful, we just have to keep that childlike wonder alive to see it.
