CALLI & KENDALL | A BEST FRIENDS SHOOT

I've got a Chicken Soup for the Photographer's Soul kinda shoot to showcase today. Calli and Kendall are lovingly referred to as "modern day pen pals". These two met virtually through a mutual friend. Their bond has only grown over the years as they have made an effort to see each other as often as they could. This time, Kendall flew in from Florida to surprise Calli at her high school graduation open house. Naturally, they couldn't let this opportunity pass them by, so they met me on Monday night for the coolest BFFs photoshoot.

These two are the definition of kindred spirits. They could totally pass as sisters! Not just because they both have the most perfect long, dark locks I've ever seen, but their connection is so sweet and I loved getting to document it. Aside from being totally gorgeous, ambitious, and smart, Calli and Kendall are also so cool. I spent most of the session pretending I was also cool. I'm sure they could see right through that, but can you blame me?! I was in the presence of a future marine biologist and sports journalist/reporter. I had to put my coolest face forward.

While these two may have completely different futures ahead of them, they have already proven that their bond can stand any test. With matching necklaces that read "no matter where", these two besties killed this session despite being attacked by mosquitos the entire time. I'm so excited to share it!
