ABIGAIL'S BRIDAL SHOWER

If you've ever been through the process of planning a wedding, I'm sure you can understand why they're calling it a bridal "era". There's just so much to do! Just when you think you've planned every possible detail, you go and forget to put a pen at the table where you'll sign your marriage license (speaking from experience). It's enough to stress out even the most organized of brides. But this "era" can be so much more than just planning. There is a ton of fun to be had too!

At the top of the list of pre-wedding fun includes the bridal shower! I always adore the atmosphere at these events. Becoming a wife, not just a bride, and making a home is such a wonderful rite of passage. Getting to celebrate that transition with all of the love, advice, and thoughtful gifts given by the women you admire most is definitely a highlight of being a bride.

Abigail's incredible support system wanted to make sure she got to soak in every minute of her bridal era by throwing her a "Something Blue Before Saying I Do" shower! Of course, I had a blast with this theme. Everywhere I looked, there was something pretty and blue for me to snap. Nothing quite as beautiful as the smiles captured from generation to generation.
